La la la la la! Yeah, I suddenly remembered that I oughta post here once in a while, or BAD STUFF HAPPENS TO MY COLLECTION OF VIDEO GAMES wow, what if that were true? then I'd be a sad sad person by now, woe.
Yeah, okay, so last week was the bestest in a while, because
missne was here and that's always totally awesome ♥ And because her visit was cut short by a spontaneously occurring Depeche Mode concert damn the timing, I'll go visit her over the weekend when she gets back from her trip in two weeks, and this will also be awesomely awesome, and I hope with a lot less of this aching feet business.
Because wow. Doesn't matter how comfortable your shoes are when the weather is hot and sticky and you're walking around Stockholm to get to SF-bokhandeln and Staffars serier and then Uppsala for the video game stores, and the shoes feel flooded despite the fact you're wearing sandals.
And then another day in Stockholm idling away the time before Stadion let us in. After the concert my feet were red and looked like I had a very localized version of measles; they were probably angsting from the hash treatment because it sure didn't itch or anything. Apparently I have emo feet. Woe.
So, watched movies. If I weren't lazy I'd give you imdb links, but, hey, you know me.
We went to the theater for "Silent Hill", which was better than I expected, and yeah of course I'll buy it, duh, even though that cultish stuff made me go WTF and all the elements taken directly from the games made me giggle so hard T-chan though I was crazy because there weren't any amusing scenes in the movie, and why oh why was my dear Pyramid Head present at all? Even though he looked damn good I don't get it? Must say that casting the Borg Queen actress as that cult leader was eerily appropriate; that scary stare of hers will remain in a corner of my brain for quite a while.
Then "The Eye 2" which had nothing to do with the first "The Eye", and, eh, I guess it wasn't really a horror movie either, but it was odd. I guess it would've been scarier if you were pregnant, or ever planning to have children, or something, but I just kept thinking WHAT THE HELL WHY ARE YOU KEEPING THE BABY IT IS A GHOST YOU IDIOT!
There was "Premonition" which starred the first ever scary newspaper with a perverted laugh. Well, that I know of anyway but if you know of more, please give me torrent links, kplzthx?. And the CG was totally AWESOME, what with said newspaper following the main character around, and, yeah, laughing pervertedly and trying to smother him in kisses or whatever the hell that thing was in the ending. No, that wasn't a spoiler, don't worry ;)
And finally, "Gawi" which had a character that looked like Rinoa, and that was damn scary. Wow. Well, the Rinoa part anyway, the movie itself was.. eh, who am I trying to kid. Scary movies don't frighten me, ever, but I enjoy watching them anyway. Shame that Rinny wasn't a crossdressing male, though, because that was our first thought when she appeared on screen.
Didn't watch "Face" or whatever, though, since it started with someone cutting up a live woman and that wasn't quite the kind of horror movie we wanted. Especially not while eating. Not that I'm squeemish, but.. yeah.
Heh, yeah, I think that was it. There was also anime and video games - and hah! Didn't expect us to be that good at cooperative mode in We ♥ Katamari, go us! - and T-chan bought Samurai Warriors even though - as reported elsewhere - Ranmaru scares the shit out of us all.
There was also a random visit to the Lush store at centralstationen, and that will probably prove to be my downfall. I got myself a shampoo bar and then had to return this monday to buy a matching conditioner, and now my bathroom smells like a perfume factory. not that I mind. I went through their catalog approximately three billion times on the train back to Uppsala, and realized that I'll need to very carefully not enter that store if I don't wanna end up buying everything they have.
And the Depeche Mode concert? [insert too loud to be healthy SQUEEEEEEEEE here]. They played It doesn't matter two! :D And Shake the disease! :D And..:D :D :D :D Photographic! That last one made me completely ecstatic and we (as in me and sis) squeed about it all the way home (well, and she puked, poor girl) and a good way of the weekend too (without the puking)
Hm. Don't think I've mentioned it before but I'm totally hooked on Death Note. I'm doing my best to ignore the scans I've already downloaded and, you know, wait for the manga to be released here, but oh my paaaaatience, it's gone missing and I don't know where to file a report for that, and now I've already bought so damn much manga the latest months so I really do think I should wait, but.. ooooh, those four volumes aren't enough! And I want more of Wallflower too, because CRACK, and Ouran! (But I already have all released volumes of Ouran, oh bother.) Well, when the next (and last?) volume of Hot Gimmick is released I'll go on a shopping spree again. (And damn you, Hatsumi, if you really did that.. GRRR!)
Yeah, and that's enough of my rambling today, I think (she says after half an hour of rabid typing) Instead I'll pay a visit to Netto and see if they sell Coca-cola to the cheapass price I paid.. ages ago. <_< Probably not, but it doesn't hurt to try, eh? well, wrong, 'cause I have to wear shoes again. WOE!
Edit: WTF, SPELLING, YOU BITCH! DON'T ABANDON ME LIKE THAT I thought what we had was special.. You hate me, don't you? You've met someone else? FINE! See if I care!
