I finally took the time to find out whether or not Elderscrolls: Oblivion would (theoretically) run on my computer. The box says Windows XP and I use W2k, which caused me to worry, but according to the good guys over at Bethesda Softworks W2k should work too. Also, apparently my video card - while not exactly the top of the line here - is acceptable. So I don't know when I'll actually have time to play the game - and I sure am not going to buy it until the price drops a little; 499 kronor are you kidding me? - but at least it'll work on my computer.

Sis is here this weekend because of school. We've decided to watch a bunch of Stephen Chow movies since I finished downloading that torrent recently, and we started out with "Faithfully Yours" yesterday. It stars Stephen Chow (!NO REALLY!) and two other guys who all fall for the same girl. The girl ends up pregnant, nobody knows who's the father since they all were very drunk that particular night, and they get to take care of her throughout the move whilst fighting for her love and the chance to be the one to get the family. A very eighties movie, and... rather stupid. Feels like Chow watched and got inspired by "Three men and a baby" - and wow, now my brain distracted me with horrible memories of Tom Selleck's moustache, go away! - which resulted in this rather amusing, weird but, yes, stupid comedy. I wouldn't buy it, but it was worth the download.

And now I'll get dressed, eat breakfast, and go pick up all those asian CDs that finally arrived (yay, FAITH!). Uhm. I guess I'll contact you about them, suain, but I guess you're kinda asleep at this time of the day? I'll meet up with sis some time after lunch, and I could bring your CDs along and drop by your place with them? Maybe you could.. uhm, call me?

...or something. But now, breakfast.

music, game: elderscrolls, game: dw/sw, movies: stephen chow, yay!
