busy little bees...
Goodness, it's been a busy month. Two weeks in Greece, with a handful of days on either side of the trip spent in New York. Straight back into teaching a 6-week summer session intro folklore class, with independent research/writing work on the side. 2 different kinds of belly dance rehearsals, training for a marathon, trying to get back into rock climbing while favoring my left ankle slightly from an old overuse strain, a visit with the b/f that involved meeting his family, making bread and grilling and gardening...
I'll try to make a picture post about Greece when I've seen all the pics my traveling companions have posted, as I was without a camera. Suffice to say, Greece was delicious (visually, gustatorily, and otherwise), and ISFNR was as always an amazing conference... I met tons of wonderful people, reconnected with those I already know and love, and had the pleasure of participating as a full member of this very prestigious organization.
In the meantime... I don't think I have time to catch up on a month+ of LJ entries... has anything gigantic happened that you haven't told me about IRL or on FaceBook or through astral projection/dreams?
