I've been waiting for that movie to come most of what I hear are complaints about its shortcomings. I am not even that interested anymore.

It's worth seeing if you want to know how some of the storylines wrap up... sort of.

Thanks. I think I look more crafty than anything else in that picture, which is why I like it.

I understand what you said about the movie. For me, I was so angry that Elizabeth just didn't die and live with Will on the Flying Dutchman FOREVER!!! Like THAT is how love should work! Or hey, she was the Pirate King. Just think about how much butt she could kick with the Dutchman helping her out.

But overall I enjoyed the flick.

Yeah.... the movie kinda left out whether she continued with Pirate King kick-ass-ness. Grr. Not to mention leaving out other things, like, say, PLOT RESOLUTIONS for other things. ;p

i'm not sure why i choose to be a snob when it comes to those pirate movies and not when it comes to stuff like...28 weeks later. maybe kiera knightly (kiera knife-to-her-throat-ly?) just drives me insane? and so does orlando bloom. orlando bloom. pshh. more like...BORElando bloom.

I think the pirate movies are fun, but I can see why not everyone would like them. *shrug*

What was the point of releasing Calypso? Did she do anything other than make a big whirlpool? That was probably my largest issue.

I've seen other complaints of this nature on people's blosg, but I haven't been reading a ton of official reviews, so I don't know whether this is a commonly held opinion.
