Tripping on Stephen Fung Tak-Lun 馮德倫
I've been tripping on Asian horror films since yesterday. Since my first taste of it with my ex-boyfriend a couple of years ago, I'm already watching the more obscure, less popularized films nowadays. I've also found a new companion of this in evil0live.
One major advantage I have is I understand Chinese, so I can deal with the films without dubbing or subtitles in English. One such film that I bought way back from my China trip was
Shadow 幽靈情書, which stars the ever so cute Hong Kong hottie, Stephen Fung 馮德倫.
Ah, so now you know why I bought the DVD...
He really is so gorgeously cute!
The first time I had heard of Stephen Fung was from the gay Hong Kong film Enter the Phoenix 大佬愛美麗, starring him and the ever so handsome Daniel Wu 吳彥祖.
Daniel Wu, the most gorgeous Chinese actor who heats up the gay men all over Asia by all the gay roles he plays, of course, plays gay in Enter the Phoenix, but Stephen Fung who directs the movie and plays opposite Daniel does not play his romantic interest. (Stephen plays the villain.) Nevertheless, the film made waves in the Asian gay scene!

But this is not the first time, Stephen Fung and Daniel Wu were in a gay film...
In 1998, there was Bishonen 美少年之戀, a gay love story, where, yes, Stephen Fung and Daniel Wu get it on!
But sadly, in reflection of the societal atmosphere at the time, the gay love story ends sadly and badly...
I have a copy of the VCD, but I've never gotten around to watching, maybe because I know it will end tragically.
Right now, I just want to be tripping on Stephen Fung! Celebrity crush! Happy thoughts!
