Random catch-up time!
*My computer has a trojan, so unfun for me. I've been busy trying to kill it and catch back up with life and do all sorts of things that for two freaking weeks I've been missing from LJ. I hate life sometimes.
*I bought the new Kelly Clarkson CD because she really is my guilty pleasure, and what do you know, it's pretty damn good. It's a lot more raw and angry and fragile, and I like it because of that. She either wrote or co-wrote all of the songs on there, so kudos Kelly! Also, I read the reviews on iTunes for it even though I have the physical CD, and I am shocked. People said they didn't like it because it was "depressing" and "not happy enough"; one person warned Kelly to happy up her songs because you don't want to depress people. Uh, hello? It's better music than she was producing and the quality is good, so who cares? Not every CD can be happy enough for you. And aren't you the same annoyances buying Evanescence and saying how it reflects the tortured darkness in your sssssoooouuuuulllllzzzzzz or whatever? Don't talk to me about depressing. If she wants to write about breakups, let her do it. I love having CDs of breakup songs. It's more convenient for wallowing.
*There's a couple bartending jobs open here :) and I am all over them. If that doesn't work out, I'll apply at this restaurant on the Strip to be a waitress and work my way up to bartending when I come of age. I actually love that restaurant (they make the second best fried mushrooms in the world; Mama's Cafe makes the first), so no skin off my nose.
*My beautiful famous red headphones finally died after a year of faithful service :( so I bought even more massive shocking pink and white ones. Plus a book about Edie Sedgwick, It Girl of the century. Retail therapy is more effective for me than actual therapy. Does this indicate a problem with me?
I think that's all, I have class at one and I need to shower still.
