Here's the situation:
You meet a person that has the potential to be a friend. You don't really know them that well, you met them casually through an acquaintance.
You talk on the phone a few times, and schedule a time to go out. But you don't decide the details, you leave them for the day of.
On the day of, you call to figure out what you're going to do. You and the person set up where you'll go, etc.
You decide to meet the person there, but the time isn't firm. So they'll call you when you should leave the house to meet them.
But they never call; and you don't call them because they said they'd call.
This was on a Saturday; you don't hear from the person till Tuesday. They leave you a message apologizing, hoping you don't hate them; but their significant other came into town unexpectedly.
Do you give them another chance? Thinking hey, I'm not that invested in the person yet, and therefore they aren't that invested in me?
Or do you just forget the whole thing and keep it moving?
