2012 Debut Author Challenge (!)
Well. Just the other day, a colleague and I were sharing our amazement that it's November already. 2011 is nearly over and we're two months into the school year! A few days before that, I received an arc or two due to pub in 2012 that are debuts. That made me think about my pitiable performance in the 2011 Debut Author Challenge. Then, yesterday, this and this popped up in my feeder.
It's time to sign up for the 2012 Challenge! I shouldn't be surprised because I was just moaning over how fast 2011 is zipping by; but gee whiz, what a wake up call! I have only 14 (oops, I just reread the rules) 12 titles listed on my challenge and a stack of about at least 6 debuts waiting and only 6 weeks left in which to read them for the 2011 challenge. Well, 10 weeks left, the challenge ends in January to accommodate December debuts. So, yeah, I read the minimum, but I was hoping to rock the challenge. I had better get reading. There's one, in particular that I want to read and will be completely disappointed in myself if I don't get to it.
