I (and Tiffany) cooked Thanksgiving dinner this year. And it rocked. It was no grilled cheese sandwich (that's for Christmas), but it was still quite impressive. The following photodocumentation will prove as much:
The menu, for the record, included: Brandied mushroom dressing, pumpkin soup, roasted garlic potatoes and honeyed carrots, Italian sausage with green apples and green olives, and game hens. And a cheesecake for dessert. Naturally I can't take full credit for the meal; it was teamwork, 50/50. But Tiffany's apple-olive sausage was the only thing I ate with gusto. Awesome.
Afterward, we washed dishes for a few hours, studied the sales circulars for the next day, and watched some Arrested Development. Went to bed, woke up at 5am, headed for Hagerstown, nearly died or punched old ladies a few times, and I bought $65 sweaters for $15. Neat.
