Her first test run in the dreamspace may have been with Cobb but between the extractor and the pointman, Ariadne sees Arthur more as her mentor than Cobb himself. This may be more the result of having peeled back the layers of Cobb's issues than a case of actual teaching time, but Ariadne's focus on Cobb has meant a tangential look at Arthur in turn. Their dynamic, albeit far from close, is a mix of warm and fond, making the broader gesture resemble something of a brother and sister. With it comes a sense of loyalty to and responsibility for Arthur that isn't quite the same shape as her feelings towards Eames.

Eames is largely a question mark for Ariadne, having spent less time with him on the Fischer job than with Cobb or Arthur. It's not lost on her that the team was Cobb's, but the plan behind inception was Eames'. She suspects, out of all of them, he may be the most well-adjusted as well as the most brilliant by far. And the most dangerous, too. Out of the three of them stranded in the City, Ariadne is most willing to consider Eames as their 'leader', based solely on the fact that he's yet to provide her a reason to call his judgment into question. His ethics, however, are a different matter.

Kenny was friends with Ariadne during one of her previous stints in the City, something that this Ariadne doesn't recall -- which made for a very strange (but yet unstilted) reunion. One of the few people who's ever been capable of taking Ariadne off-guard, Kenny surprised her by recounting hers and Arthur's personalities with startling accuracy. Both wary of and compelled by him, Ariadne thinks Kenny could be either someone she comes to respect greatly or a problem for the team and their tendency to keep secrets. Maybe both.

Kayana is Ariadne's first troll and really, Ariadne's first exposure to anyone obviously non-human. Spurned on by idle curiosity of the trolls' odd typing quirks, where Ariadne failed to engage Eridan in conversation (having arrived with Kayana) she succeeded in spades with his companion. Kanaya's ability to engage Ariadne on an intellectual level has effectively ruined all other trolls for her. The areas where their temperaments overlap are relieving to Ariadne, while Kanaya's otherness promises to hold Ariadne's curiosity for a long while.
