well i am doing a testimonial sort of thing rather than a finger-pointing thing--someone told me lately that i do less of that because of what i have been through and seen--so the point is whatever it is for you....i guess i could be one step more specific and say that the kind of 'closed' system that we boxed you up in from your infancy is something that needs to be grown out of, more or less violently--perhaps like a chrysalis.... it may not be as honourable or dramatic as all that, but it would not be surprising or abnormal for you to find, in the process of your essential individuation, a "nest" or matrix that is familiar to you and that appears to offer you "all the comforts of home" without some of the limitations, and that you would be drawn to return there and let this system take care of you. note that there is no moral cowardice or immaturity implied here; i should quote one more thing my counsellor told me: he said that my maturity was not absent or stunted but that it had 'gaps' in it that could be filled in by seeing followed by conscious choosing....
