Fresno, Here We Come
The weirdest thing happened at the Holocene on Saturday night after roller derby. I was just standing there against a rail, minding my own, when this woman walked by and the heel on her high heel shoes got caught in my left Converse. At first, I don't think she could figure out why her leg wouldn't move forward any more. Once she realized that her heel was stuck IN MY SHOE, it took a few seconds for us to disentangle.
"This has never happened before," I said.
In other news I have a sinus infection that won't leave me alone.
In other other news, we're leaving in a few minutes on an unexpected road trip to Fresno to look in on Punchy's grandma. And taking the dog. If anybody who is currently in Fresno wants to see us, you know where we'll be staying. Let's hang out, as the kids say.
