Game, life, etc

Ok so a few friends and I hit up the new troupe Sabbat game that is run by Sean Mooney (of LA OWbN fame for those wondering). Overall I think the new people we met were great and we seemed to be of the consensus that it was purty good. A couple of bullet points:

1) In an interesting Godwynn Lancaster type twist they have familial lines of Lasombra and Tzmisce in the game. I'm used to hearing and seeing those clans pretty much joined only due to clan and not because of a similar founder. We have something similar in SotP just on a smaller scale with former Bishop Jaeger.

2) Beta for the win. Oh...my...god. She was like someone got up late one night and decided to crossbreed Sunshine Mathis (if you play in our table top games you should know who she is. If you played at Kublacon 07 during the Cam court she was the Toreador that -every- member of her clan apparently tried to disown or avoid) with Bevis doing his Cornholio routine.

3) Steven aka Satherial from SotP playing an Inquisitor, ¡muy muy bueno!

4) Jesse (I believe that was his name) playing 'Powerful' aka the no-status Bitch. He also doubled as one of the Inquisitors.

5) -Finally- got to meet Mikey. Good times. Can't believe how small the world is when he and I have been friends with Kate for -years- and never knew about it each other until recently. :)

6) Jessie aka Taylor: Put her RP skillz on display by.....talking with herself -constantly-. If there was a lull in group chatter, there she was. If someone important was speaking (IE: Inquisitors) yeah that was her voice in the background. Good stuff.

7) M'Cori and Art: Mostly dealt with M'Cori but got to chat with Art as well about my Lasombra character in the beginning. Hope to get to know them better as time rolls on.

Overall the game had it's share of wallflowers and folks that just brood like any LARP does. But the energy was pretty high and it really empowered me going into this Friday for my own Sabbat game. Looking forward to the next game and possibly joining a pack to further explore the game's dynamics.

Life: Well the Carolina Panthers are in the playoffs and had a first round bye. Love it. And now we face the Arizona Cardinals whom we already beat once during the season. GO PANTHERS!!

Kids are heading back to school this week so that will be nice :) And I love having the Wii now too. Between the 3rd computer and the Wii we're doing a lot more with our boys and I like that. Now if I could just slot some time when the sun was still up to chuck the ball around with my oldest son...

Anyways gonna start prepping this week for Cillian's version of the Temptation of Caine that everyone here seems to love for this Friday and working on plot ideas.
