I'm still sort of shocked at game.........
Brom and I working in tandem has been working IMO in overdrive. The feed back we've gotten has been fantastic. The games have been awesome. And in the span of 2 games we've increased our playerbase by 10. Most of which not even from the usual circle of friends either.
Dena has been a lot of help handling the smaller things which has freed us up to handle the big things like running scenes and answering questions.
But the best thing is the seasoning of our players and how they are coming into their own. This is exactly what I had originally envisioned when we kicked off SotP again. None of the 'usual' (folks you typically see in other games around town) crowd are in positions of power and many are stepping forward to stand on their own two IC feet.
I know I had planned on going to KublaCon for the Sabbat event. But things happen and events transpired between then and now. And while I would have loved to make it (because I'm sure the Sabbat event there would have been rockin) but I wouldn't give this up for anything right now.
And best of all, we've got a solid mix of new people. Completely new, as in new to larp in general. It's awesome because it's a two-fold growth that any ST would enjoy. New people to enjoy, play, and add to the game. New people with none of the 'old world' funk that seems to be acustom to more of us old timers.
All in all, things are good.
Now if we could just take a sledgehammer to corporate thinking, fix the boarder, and get the Panthers a Super Bowl Championship, life would be perfect
