So.... My computer doesn't work right now. Shit. I, for one, am completely disheartened by this unexpected turn of events, as I require my computer to live. Seriously, it's like my lifeblood, replacing my red blood cells with micro chips, my veins with wiring and my heart with a motherboard. I find myself, for the first time in a long while, actually bored. While I do not usually lack in things to do, my free time is usually spent cruising teh netz for funny and interesting things. I haven't seen the last two episodes of Naruto Shippuuden and it makes me want to crawl into an internet cafe, kill everyone contained therein and horde the computers in much the same way dragons horde treasure.
However all other aspects of my life are staying on track well enough. Maybe not the same tracks, but at the very least going in the same direction for a change. As some people may or may not know I quit College Pro in the midst of a heated phone call with my pseudo boss. I forget exactly how it went, but I did it sometime between him asking me for a doctor's note and me telling him that I thought his job only caused problems and he wasn't a very good painter. Anyway, I spent a few days madly searching for a new job (and by madly searching for a new job I of course mean sitting on my couch playing Oblivion, which is another story altogether). And after all my desperate flailing about for a job I did land a good job. I'm working at the Pharmacy in Boynton. It's a pretty easy job, much smaller shelf space to take care of than Target... There's very little to do if people aren't here, I'm working right now in fact. Think about it, I'm getting paid 12.61 an hour to update my LJ right now. Now you all know how much it takes to make me update, donations will be accepted at any given time in my trousers (ones only please).
What I really need is a good night of boozing. I was downtown last night for the ACME comedy club show (which my friend Carolyn ROCKED by the way) and on my way home I felt like dancing so much I almost tried to get in someplace despite my hoody ("Come on man, it's the Ninja Turtles! How much LESS gangster can I get?!"), hat ("You know what? I slept with your mom last night Mr. Bouncer, and I haven't seen that much hair since I banged Coco the ASL ape!") and drawstring bag ("I'm going to bomb YOU, big boy..."). I didn't though. I dislike going dancing alone for some reason. I was very tempted to have a drink after a coupon for a free drink was thrust into my hand but thought the better of it. Instead I went home. And read. The attention whore fell asleep on my lap after about 15 minutes of noise. Anyway, I think that's all I have to report on at the moment. Once again, my computer is broken, so if anyone wants to try taking on the exceptionally difficult task of entertaining me give me a call. I like movies, the mall and long walks on the beach (NOT ones with cops accusing me of skinny dipping). Peace!
