Feeling better today...
Today is much better in terms of my health. All I have is a small sore throat...no biggie (guess I should stop deep throating those bananas :P).
Yesterday was a good day in the respects of gaming. I achieved my place rank of 89 in the Gears of War Warzone rank. This is great considering the time I've put into the game. With all the time I put into GeOW, my disc certainly was taking the brunt of the usage. I got the game only 2 months ago...yet I had to buy a new copy yesterday. Seems as though I didn't take care of such an amazing game.
Went to my local EBGames and looked for a new copy. Saw they had them along with Call of Duty 3. Figure since I got a decent amount of spending money, I'd pick up both. I know the cashier there very well (I trained her before I left for ACP). We had a small conversation and she asked if I wanted to warranty both games. I said only Gears and she gave me the total. The total was $67.40. Without even thinking, I pulled out the cash from my wallet and took my games. When I got home, it hit me! She only charged me for one game!!! Its a gamer's dream to get 2 games for the price of one. I basked in the glory.
Besides that...nothing else is new. Been hanging out with friends, working at the hospital, eating home cooked meals, working out and playing games. Got the grant on the HD-Endeavor ($500). I'll also be tutoring which will get me some cash flow. I've got three confirmed students who I'll be seeing about 5 hours a week. I hope to be able to save them some money by assigning practice problems so they can keep on progressing.
