Terror Haunts Hogsmeade on Halloween!

All was well at the first annual Hogsmeade Halloween Festival. Entrepeuners peddled their wares from booths and carts, live entertainment kept the crowd active and lively, and a fireworks display topped off the night.
“That’s for sure,” said Hogsmeade resident, Mallory Schaffer. “Everyone were ‘oohing’ and ‘aahing’ and then it all changed to screams, it did.” Following a fantastic fireworks display, courtesy of Fernando’s Fiery Fireworks on Ferson, a single green curse erupted into the visage of terror, thought gone for the last 4 years. “And there were the Dark Mark, right there in the sky! It caused a great ruckus, people running this way and tha’. I weren’t sure what to do with myself!”
Screams of horror turned to shouts of victory when the dark mark was seemingly eaten by a dazzling purple peacock, only to be repeated over and over in the sky.
“I’m not sure what it stood for, but it was eating the Mark, so it can’t be bad!” said Hogwarts 4th year, Caleb Wagner, who saw the Mark from his dormitory window. “It just sucked it in, like it was nothing! My dorm mates and I were shocked!”
One thing is for sure, no one will forget the First Annual Hogsmeade Halloween Festival.

What’s Happening Around Hogsmeade?
Going to bed the other night, I noticed people in my broom shed, stealing things.
I flooed the MLE but was told no one was in the area to help. They said they would send an officer over as soon as possible.
I waited a minute before flooing them back. ‘Hello,’ I said, ‘I flooed a minute ago because there were people in my shed. You don’t have to hurry now, because I’ve used an Unforgiveable on them.’
Within minutes there were half a dozen officers, plus three aurors in my front lawn. They caught the burglars red-handed.
One of the officers said: ‘I thought you said you’d use Unforgiveables on them.’
To which I replied: ‘I thought you said there was no one available.’
