I'm in Love --my first post in over a year!--

James and I have been going steady (oh that's so junior high- maybe even Degrassi) for nearly 3 months. It's amazing! We've been friends for a year. One night, after I called to make fun of him for not showing up to Hooters for the end-of-classes celebration, I said "I love you" to make him feel better because he was swamped with numbers (work)... ya know, like friends do. Then later, on his midnight radio show (midnight radio... that's so Hedwig!) he made a repeat track of someone that sounded JUST LIKE ME saying "I love you" over and over and over! I was a little freaked, not because it was saying "I love you" over and over and over, but because it sounded just like me. I thought he'd recorded our convo and was airing it or something. Then on our first official date, I found out that show was dedicated to me and that it was a parrot record (so a parrot can learn a bunch of phrases, ya know?) and oh, how sweet that was!

For our first date, we drove around and ate noodles and black licorice. We also went walking on the dead where I ran into my other friend named James.

Our second date is when we kissed (!!!) and made out, too! and he said "I love you" in person. I was afraid to say it at first, but I felt it, but I didn't want to say it because of my history of failing at it so many times before, but he said it was such conviction and no fear! So it must have been true. When it's true, it doesn't sound like you're breaking bad news to someone. So after a little bit of crazed synapses inside my head, I said it back.

So, remember when I said to never trust your radio friends? What I meant to say was Never go to a very bad show, even if it is free, ther's always something better. He wasn't the radio friend I was talking about then anyway.

*sigh*

I'm totally in love!
