Vancouver
Well we arrived home Friday 12 noon,half hour earlier than expected:)I wil lgo through my trip by day,should make it easier to remember I hope,
Thursday-We flew out to Vancouver with Air Canada.Now as some of you know Im scared of flying big time,I was crying at take off,not because I was scared but because I couldnt beleive my dream of going to Vancouver was happening.The flight was okay but the landing was very turbelent.Met dannysgirl(Pat) on the flight as she was in the seat in front.We got to the hotel and was on the 11th floor with lovely views of the mountains.Registered at 9 with everyone else and the queue was very long when we got there.Mark got me all the new t shirts so I was happy lol.
Friday-We went shopping in the Metropolis mall then into downtown Vancouver to do some sightseeing.Saw the art gallery.Got back to the Hilton in time to see the cabaret which was really funny.
Saturday-.the set tour was unbelievable,we were taken round by Martin Gero and he was a great guide.There is nothing like turning the corner and seeing the Stargate in front of you.It was stunning. Then it was photo ops with Joe.I heard about Lexa having the baby at that point and was starting to panic in case Michael didnt turn up,breathed a huge sigh of relief when he did.Then photo ops with Michael,I had 2 photos with Michael so got to have my arm around his waist for a while:).I wanted to ask for a hug but as usual I was too shy and also everything felt rushed.Loved all the talks.
Sunday-Breakfast with the stars.Each guest spent about 2 minutes at the table.Amanda was asking where we was from and she seemed touched when we said I had flown out to Vancouver to see them even though I was nervous flyer.Then it was photo ops with Amanda and she saw my I have Ascended have you shirt and she thought it was funny,she had never seen it before.Met Loopy very briefly and spoke to dannysgirl again.We didnt see Beaus talk or Cliff and JRS as we were shopping.
Monday-We changed hotels to a downtown one which I didnt like at all,too many skyscrapers around it and the room was small and lopsided.We managed to book a room for the next 2 days at the hotel across the road from Bridge studios:)
Tuesday-We went to Swangard stadium which is also Smallville Highs football ground,then to Simon Fraser university.We did start gonig to Horizons and the Playground of the gods but decided it wasnt a place designed for pedestrians to get to.I was disappointed as it was one of the main places I wanted to visit.
Wednesday-Went to Stanley Park ,Vancouver aquarium and had a horse drawn tour around the park which was nice but very cold.Then we went to see the Canucks,I loved it,the atmosphere was great,we were so high up,right near the ceiling of the stadium.Canucks won with 6 seconds on the clock:)
Thursday,Went to Plaza of nations and Daniels apartment from the light:).Then Vancouver airport,I cried again as didnt want to come home.I loved Vancouver.The flight home was great,hardly any turbelence although it was cloudy.Had 5 hours sleep and now Im here lol.
So now I did okay on that flight,theres still a chance I might get to New Jersey yet:)
