[Filtered to Palom.]

It was a week, almost exactly.

Did you get anything back? I can use my basic White Magic, now.

And don't stuff yourself, or you'll be sick.

[And Porom is sitting outside on the front steps of her house, nibbling on some Saltines and drinking apple juice. She's taking it slowly, not wanting to throw up after a week of not ( Read more... )

Don't worry; you're too late. I already was. And yeah, I got back a few more spells -- One that probably would've been useful back then.

[Palom can be seen attempting to herd a group of small, green pigs without any feet that appear to be extremely confused.]

By the way, Pig doesn't work too well on bushes, in case you were wondering.

[She sighs... that's really not surprising.]

I hope you're feeling better now--Palom!

[She just kind of gawks at the bushpigs.]

It wasn't meant to be cast on bushes, Palom! Really--

[She looks disapproving for a moment, but then she starts giggling.]

[He grins widely.]

It was for the advancement of magic! Someone had to do it sometime. I thought I could get them into real pigs, but this was the best I could do. They just turned into pig-shaped bushes at first.

Saaaay. I wonder what would happen if I cast Pig on a pig.

Oh, for the "advancement of magic?" That's a new one.

[Still, she gets up and walks over to inspect them.]

I'm kind of impressed it worked at all. But I doubt it would have any effect if you tried casting it on a real pig.

[Ignores the voice of reason.]

Maybe they would turn human! Cause if you cast Pig on a Pig'd person, they turn back. I could create a whole new species of people! All they'd be able to say would be 'oink', but I still think that'd get me a prize or something.

But a pig is already a pig! If it was a human that had been a pig it'd change back, but there's nothing for a pig to change into.

[Trying to be logical with Palom here... Which is hard to do even without green leafy pigs running around.]

[One of the green leafy pigs has rolled to Porom's feet and is attempting to sniff her. To its dismay, it finds it has no sense of smell. Bushes usually didn't.]

And that's why I have to try for the sake of magic. Maybe it'll create a time-space paradox and this town will disappear.

[She watches the pig as it inspects her, giving it an experimental pat. Her hand goes through its leafy head a little.]

It would not! Transmogrification spells have nothing to do with that. You'd need to... mix Haste or Slow or something, and I don't think that'd work either.
