I feel like I should say something about Japan first, but I don't really know what to say. I spent my first hour watching it as new developments were being made and I didn't know what to say then, either. My teacher tried to turn it into a lesson, which I thought was pretty insensitive. I'm not exactly sure how a death toll of over 300 (this was very early in the morning) translates into "teachable moment, y'all," but whatever.
