Better a hand full of wishes than a hand full of shit, unless you need fertilizer. Nothing is better than less than nothing is exactly the same as nothing is nothing is nothing is nothing is nothing; I cycle through the cliches until they flicker like a zoetrope. Nothing has changed since I last checked, of course. But I keep coming back, hoping god moved something while I was looking away.
You can write all the proofs and poetry, build all the skyscrapers and spaceships, but some things remain immutable. There is no way out of the mind. Or there is, but it's the same as the one out of the body.
