It's the most wonderful time of the year...

Wow, ok. So looking at old entries last night. kind of embarassing, but also cool to see how I have changed/stayed the same in the past few years. Hopefully when I read this entry 2 years down the line I won't be as embarassed. haha

So I've been on Winter break for a week now, (wow, feels like waaay longer) and I couldn't be happier. This semester was a rollercoaster. I definitely had a lot of fun, and most of the time I'm content with where I'm at. But classes were not my favorite, stressful and times and I'm really not good with handling stress. Hello panic attack! But yeah...over now. Got a few of my grades so far, and I did well. Seriously thought I was going to get a C in science, but I managed to pull off a B.

Since break started, I've been keeping pretty busy. Did a bunch of Christmas shopping with Nelson last wednesday. I love buying presents. And Christmas. Did I mention that? My favorite part of the year, hands down. love everything about it, music, lights, cookies, family, friends, and I really enjoy getting gifts that I know people will actually like.

Thursday and Friday were spent with Kels and Meg baking a shit ton of cookies. We made like...7 different kinds. And plated them up and handed them out to the neighbors. We're such good little Pines lake children :) Oh yeah, Thursday night went out to dinner/Fine Grind with Nelson,Becca&Matt, and Beck. Fun, as usual. I'm glad I'm such good friends with those two girls. it's amazing how close you can become after only a year when you live with someone. Becca and I are practically inseparable at school. We exchanged Christmas gifts that night, and of course they were perfect.

Saturday I did some more Christmas shopping with my Mom. The mall was a mob scene, I got really claustrophobic and overwhelmed. Not so much fun, but I got a pair of boots I really wanted. At night i went back to work for the first time in about 3 weeks. I realized how much I missed it when I was there. i really love my job&co-workers. Oh yeah, spilled vanilla syrup on my head....good times. Not as much fun as when I got caramel sauce dumped on my head because i sprayed Tina with whipped cream, but amusing nonetheless. Sunday we FINALLY got decorations up on the tree.

Monday night went out for dinner with nelson, Will, and Julia, for Will's Birthday. It was fun, and watching the interaction amongst the Hagen family is hilarious.

Yesterday i ran some errands with Jaimie. i needed to go to target to look for a gift my Mom wanted, but we went to the reject target(on 46) and they didn't have it so that trip was pointless. Then we went to best Buy to get a computer for Casey. Stood around looking like idiots for a half hour until one of the blue shirt people finally came up to us. And proceeded to inform us that the laptop we wanted was out of stock. So he showed us another one that was cheaper and we scored the last one. After that we were beat. Being in a store this time of year is really draining.
Later on Jaimie, Jess and Talia came over for dinner, we ordered pizza because none of us really felt like spending a lot of money(yay, failing economy!). It was nice to catch up, i'm glad I'm still friends with the 3 of them. Went to Fine grind for dessert and coffee afterwards....pretty sure that's the 3rd time I've been there in as many weeks. I love that place so much, i would totally want to work there if I didn't already work at Starbucks.
We ended up stopping in at Talia's afterwards and i totally wiped out on the ice. Hit the ground just as Tal said, "watch the ice!" They didn't even see me fall, just heard laughter coming from underneath the car. hahahaha I was so impressed with how clean i fell. No injuries. Awesome.

And that brings me right up to today, Christmas Eve! Yay :) I will most likely be spending some time with kels because she got her wisdom teeth pulled yesterday. Dinner with the fam tonight, and Christmas TOMORROW. OMG rghdfgkjhdfkhfkbnbn so excited!! : D
