drum machine
i have been thinking that most of my difficulties would disappear if i possessed a decent drum machine. i am not thinking anything particularly fancy: just a 606! and i would even be happy with a 505.
these past couple of days have been blissful. rival self has been relaxed and lackadaisical, although he has developed an unusual fascination with aqua net hairspray. needless to say, he has not been overly concerned with my movements. and we are leaving! we are bringing the message to california next week, and select locations in oregon and washington. i am eager to shed my clothes and shut the door on the sordid sheets of academia.
speaking of washing machines, has anyone else discovered an unexpected fondness for the smell of juniper berries? it is like a spruce goose full of kansas on the way to the park. i am enjoying being outside, lately.
