This is an exact copy of the post that I left on Healthboards.comI'm new here, and I don't really know the procedure as to where to post questions, so: here's as good a place as any

You are wasting your time. Healthboards is probably the single largest example of the Internet encouraging ill-informed morons to meet up and exchange their 'questionable' (read: Total Bullshit) advice.
Here's what to do: Go and see your Doctor. Request a blood test to check Iron levels and the possibility of Type 2 Diabetes.
Also, look at your diet, alter it as necessary. If you need more information on this, ask away.
Besides the good advice from the previous posters, I have something else to comment from personal experience. You need around 8-9 hours of sleep average per night. I'm not quoting a fact completely, because I'm no expert. But I find if you get less than that on a regular basis you're a walking zombie. But also if you get more than that, you end up being even more tired. I don't know why, don't understand why, but I've slept for over 12 hours, and I end up being more tired than if I only got 4 hours of sleep most often.
Try and aim for a little less sleep.. look at that clock, and say, "I'm gonna only get eight hours."
Though honestly I find I'm still tired when I wake up around then, but we're all groggy for a while when we wake up. Unless they're one of those highly annoying morning people. But anyways.. that's my part in all of this.
Too much sleep can be just as bad as not enough. The 'average' person is said to require between 7 and 8 hour sleep per night, and it is claimed that a very high proportion of people do not get enough sleep every night, at least in the UK anyhow
