“Did you know you had little specks of gold in your eye? They look like eye freckles.”
Ginny couldn't help but laugh at the idea of eye freckles. Luna sure found strange things to discuss. “I didn't...but I'm glad you told me.”
“I should think you would be.”
Luna looked at her quietly. It was like she was discovering everything about her with one glance. She found herself blushing. “What are you looking at?”
“You, of course,” Luna stated in a matter-of-fact tone.
“I have a much better idea for our time than you looking at me for long periods of time.”
“Is that so, Ginevra?”
Ginny normally hated it when her full name was used...but somehow, Luna made it sound pretty...and somewhat romantic. “It is...”
Ginny leaned over, pressing her lips against Luna's. When they parted for air, Luna remarked, “I rather like this idea better, indeed.”
“I thought you might.” Ginny smiled, pulling Luna over and letting their bodies line up, feeling rather like they were two puzzle pieces that fit together in a lovely way.
