Harry Potter News: Fanart Works and sleuthing

This entry is full of links to Harry Potter fanart work I have done in the past up to now. They are all hosted on Mediaminer so they load faster than your average deviant art.

So yeah.

In other news, I'm still working on chapter three and currently fleshing out many years of the books for this story. I got some quite interesting ideas.

I realized three things that occurred to me in the past 24 hours.

All 6 books except one have shown/told about a horcrux. The missing book is the third book. The first book included Voldemort himself, the second is, of course, the diary, the third, I have no idea.

As for the forth one, it's where we see Nagini for the first time, the fifth, we see the locket, which, I am sure, is the horcrux. The sixth includes the ring and the cup. But for now, I'm only going with what we have seen in the books, so the cup is out of the question.

So, we could have seen the cup in the third book, which i doubt, or in the last book. And the final horcrux, something of Gryffindor or Ravenclaw, which I highly think will be something in the third book because it is kind of too late to introduce new objects. Also, all of the horcruxes mentioned have been seen/heard at the beginning of each book. For example, Dumbledore talked about Voldemort, we saw Ginny writing in the diary at the burrow, third book, I don't know. Then in the forth, we saw Nagini in the dream, Locket when the team was cleaning the Grimmauld's place, and lastly, the ring in which is worn by Dumbledore when he fetches Harry from the Dursleys. I think we see a pattern here.

Anyway, stemming from that, I've been thinking what could be the final horcrux and today when we, my family and I, were walking about in the Art fair, I saw a mirror and something clicked. We've seen mirrors in a lot of the books, as though it is a theme and repeated at that. What if the horcrux is a mirror? And somehow, I don't think Ravenclaw would have a mirror, so that leaves us the Gryffindor's.

Finally, one more point that I had realized is that we know how unusual Harry's eye color is, how it belonged to Lily. And how we will learn something very important about Lily. And since we are now dealing with horcruxes, it only makes sense that Lily will have something to do with the famed objects. This might seem out of the blue, but what if her eyes can detect horcruxes and passed the genes on to Harry? If not, then at the very least, we will learn some important clue about Lily and the horcruxes. It seems pointless that if she didn't had anything to do with the horcruxes. Maybe the Potters found some important clue that leads to the cup or the unknown object. I don't know.
