Christmas is coming, but like Todd said, not soon enough. We've been trying to get together as much as possible, but the kids, they all miss each other. I think they might talk more on the phone than Todd and I do. Okay, that might be because we visit on the DL, but that's besides the point.
We were in Toronto yesterday. The kids stayed home, but we called on speakerphone afterwards. For as much as I thought I had a family before... this... nothing compares to this. The sense of completeness... if that's even a word. Maybe it's the time of the year, maybe I'm just becoming a huge softee (okay, but really, I don't go soft all that much... just ask Todd), but god, I love where life has lead me. And if I had to do it all over again, I'd do it exactly the same.
