two really irritating things

Two things that are really irritating are when people say 'I am a citizen of the world, not ________ (insert country that they hold passport in, and are indeed a citizen of--mother of god!)...and when people come back from like a week in Mexico or some shit like that and can only talk about how bad America sucks. Get a life, dudes

You know how it is sometimes to sit down and write and everything seems gay. Well, in short--I came home from Switzerland in September, spent a couple of months with my family, Philipp joined me for Christmas, we stayed there for a week, then made our way to Florida to visit his dad, and we just got in from the road to California about a week ago!

Now we are doing this work exchange thing up here in Southern California, on the Santa Ana mountain range--kind of like a resort place...we will be here for another 3 or 4 weeks before moving to Cambria, which is this little seaside city right on the cali coast (central)..that place is a bed and breakfast/hostel gig...excited about that one because I will not have to drive--can bike or walk most everywhere!

So, this is my (our) lives for the next little bit. He has a 6 month visa to stay in the US and then after that, who knows??? Hopefully will extend his stay but if not Canada?Mexico?Europe? WHO KNOWS???

Keep telling you to come visit, would be fun you know!

Oh yeah, and for jealousy points---we just got in from Truth or Consequences before coming here...soaking in mineral hot tubs for 2 days! Woohoo!! That town is so creepily great, and they have some nice little cafes and delis now from when you were there, and when I went 2 years ago with Jessica.
