The beginning of the end

Apr 28, 2004 14:51

Today was the end of the semester. The weather was nice and I had just accomplished so much work that had been hanging over my head all week. I was elated after leaving the Sawyer library. I was happily walking back to the dorm when it hit me..
This is all over.
And I got really sad. I almost stopped dead in my tracks near the fountain and looked around. Not for 4 more months will I walk up and down "the hill" to and from class. I'll won't have lunch at Donahue for 4 more months. I won't be able to go back to the dorms for 4 months and find my friends and say "Hey, what are we doing tonight". It made me really sad.

I am going to miss this place so much over the summer. Yes, I am working in Boston this summer and I will be in the city, but I am going to miss Suffolk so much. And after the experience I had at work yesterday (If I havent already told you in conversation, ask me and I will tell you.. lordy, it's a good story) I am definetly having second thoughts about working at Mass General this summer.

On a somewhat happier note.. We still have a week left here. I plan on partying so hard that I won't know my name or who I am. It's going to be rediculous. Tonight, I want to go to the bar.. Anyone reading this on Wednesday afteronn around 3-ish should contact me asap via cell phone or AIM, if you are interested in going to the Red Hat tonight. Tommorow night, the final shock and awe sake bomb campaign. It will be an end all bombing campaign of complete destruction. Friday night, not sure yet, but I'm pretty sure the itinerary says "get shitted out of your mind with all your awesome friends that you are going to miss over the summer." And then Saturday.. Saturday.. the day I fear many people may die from the AWESOMENESS that is going to occur.
The events planned are to awesome to even speak of. I may die just from thinking about how incredibly awesome it is going to be.

And with that, I can assure you that here at SU, we are going to go out with a bang. Those living in Boston and some surrounding areas should hide they're children and lock their doors. It's going to be crazy!

Question of the day: In the soundtrack of your life, what song is playing today, just out of curiousity..
Mine is.. "Simply Because"-Rooney.. I'm just intrested to see what people's answers will be
