Oops, it's Monday again

OK so I lied a bit.  Sorrys. >_<;
But the weekend had absolutely nothing to it, so maybe I'm ok.
Last Monday was all staff meetings.  It got quite boring.  On the plus side, I had plenty of time to get my work finished.  That was nice.
Tuesday was Opening Ceremony.  That was pretty boring, too.  I caught a little bit of the speeches, and there were rewards handed out for sports club victories and things over summer break.  Boring again, but I got to wear my fun pants, which was awesome.  Some people wondered if I was trying to set a new fashion, but I just think they're fun.  I almost wish I could wear skirts over here (the Japanese girliness must be getting to me... oh dear) but there's no way that's gonna happen.  Maybe if I get down the 80 lbs I want to get rid of.
Wednesday was homework tests, those poor kids.  Ugh.
Thursday things finally started getting interesting on Thursday.  I got to go to the awesome Nishiko again.  I thought it was a little funny - going form not teaching for over a month to having 4 classes in a day, but it turned out kinda fun.  It was A week though, and I don't really like A week as much.  A week I teach 3 classes of 2nd year JHS kids, 1 class of 1st years.  B week, the proportions are reversed.  A week is much more confusing for me, I go to 4 different classrooms with 4 different teachers.  B week there are still different classrooms, but I have the same teacher, Watanabe-sensei, for 3 of my 4 classes.  It's much easier to talk about what worked and what didn't in between classes, and then I don't have to change to 4 different teaching styles.  Not to mention the first years are just so darn cute!  At least the teaching style this week was relatively normal - they have a weird way of having me teach the second years that seems to work in theory but not in actuality.  Theoretically, me and a group of 4 or 5 kids go sit in a circle at the back of the class or in a hallway, and everyone talks about whatever the topic is that week.  Actually, I usually end up trying to start a conversation with 4 or 5 silent, staring students.

And I just decided to continue this tomorrow cuz I'm tired.  kthxbye.  ^_^
