Yesterday, news hit that Morgan Spurlock is going to be doing a documentary on "The Simpsons." So, I've decided to of my favorite episodes of "The Simpsons" ever, in no particular order:
--"Hurricane Neddy" Because it's fun to see Ned Flanders snap and act out of character.
LMAO yes. "Oh if it isn't Lisa Simpson. Springfield's answer to the question never asked!" I liken it to the BSC book where Stacey finally snaps, tells off the BSC, and quits.
Most of the ones you posted are also my favorites. Some of the early seasons were just gold! Like season 3-5 they were at their best. My favorites that you didn't already list (and I always forget the titles LOL) are -The BeSharps -The Front (I think that's the one where Bart and Lisa write Itchy & Scratchy episodes and stick Grampa's name on them) -The film festival one where Jay Sherman made an appearance because I think I was the only person who watched The Critic every week. -Bart gets a fake ID and drives down to Knoxville with his friends -Brush with Greatness -Little Miss Springfield -Homer the Smithers
And now I have to add some classic lines becase you inspired me LOL:
Two Dozen and One Greyhounds: (The puppies make a mess of the house and Marge and Homer consider getting rid of them) Lisa: Is that what we do in this family? When someone becomes a nuisance we send them away? (Scene cuts to the Retirement Castle, with Grampa sitting alone in his room) Grampa: (picks up phone) Hello.........?
Homie the Klown: (Bart's reaction to Homer's announcement that he's enrolling in clown college) Bart: (Cracks up) College?!?!? Barber or clown?
The Front: Bart: Grampa, we need to know your first name... Grampa: *GASP* YOU'RE WRITING MY TOMBSTONE?!?!??!?!
Springfield Film Festival (I'd look the name up, but I can't find my episode guide) The judge's panel is discussing who should win and Krusty votes for Mr. Burns's movie) Jay Sherman: How could you vote for Burns's movie? Krusty: Let's just say it moved me....TO A BIGGER HOUSE! Whoops. I said the quiet part loud, and the loud part quiet.
Bart on the Road (I think that's the name of the road trip one) (Lisa's at the power plant with Homer. He's eating donuts and offers her one) Lisa: No thanks...do you have any fruit? Homer: This one has purple stuff inside. Purple's a fruit!
"Oh if it isn't Lisa Simpson. Springfield's answer to the question never asked!"
LAWL, that was one of my favorite lines in the whole episode. (I also loved what Ned said to Moe.)
I loved "The Critic" as well. Too bad that show never really took off. And the "Little Miss Springfield" one is another one of my faves, too. I'm just partial to all the Lisa-centric episodes.
Yeah I love Lisa too, she's my favorite! Her and Ralph LOL.
The Critic was hilarious, I wish they would bring it back! Granted, a lot of the jokes went over my head the first time around, but I watched some episodes on youtube, and they're hilarious! A little dated because it was so topical, but hilarious!
