[Anyone familiar with Lea knows that being surrounded by animals has started to become an extremely common thing lately. Whether its any of his seventeen chocobos or Arden the Eevee, he's like a walking zoo.

But when the feed accidentally flickers on today, he's by himself. This wouldn't be of any particular interest, except of where he is. He's not

[He nods solemnly.] No problem, Lea. I always have time for you.

Whenever and whatever you would like to do, I'll be there.

I, uh, didn't have anything in specific planned, y'know? I kinda wasn't expecting today.

What do you like to do? I don't think I ever figured that out, or asked or anything.

I like to take long walks on beaches...though on second thought, there really aren't any here.

How about a walk in the plaza? We could investigate the shops they have there and you could show me around.

A walk...

[Pausing, he nods to himself.]

Yeah. That'd be nice. Where should we meet up?

Near the coral, perhaps. Whatever is convenient for you.

That's good for me. I can meet you there in a few minutes, if... that's okay?

Sounds good to me.

[And there he is, looking as calm as ever standing in the plaza, hands clasped in front of him as he looks for any sign of Lea.]

[It doesn't take Lea long, mostly because his restaurant is closer than Stein's house is in regards to the plaza. When he spots Jacob, he waves.]

Hey! Thanks. For coming and everything.

No problem.

[He gives Lea a reassuring smile and waves back.] I'm always here if you need me....So, shall we go?

Yeah! Anywhere you want to go to first? Like, food places, or clothing stores, or whatever?

I'm in the mood for some good food, I think. Any recommendations?

Oh, I have tons of recommendations. You picky about your food? Allergic? I know all the restaurant people in Vat.

I'm quite fond of seafood, having lived on an island and all.

Then sushi sounds good! C'mon, this way. [Leading the way, he starts to point out the different stores. Tour? Lea'll show you a tour.]

Oh, over there is Elld's, that's a pretty good place to get suits fitted and stuff. I think the old owner died from dinosaur attacks, or something, and so yeah, no pets allowed in there. Oh, I know that bookstore! It's run by this old lady-

[On the way to the restaurant Lea has in mind, he rattles off little facts about the other stores they pass with all the experience of someone who gets his nose into everyone else's business. He's breathless when they finally arrive to a nice little sushi bar tucked away amongst the bigger buildings.]

[Jacob listens to every single fact, genuinely interested in everything Lea has to say. People are fascinating, he has to admit. He nods, smiles, says words of agreement, and generally acts the perfect listener to Lea's bits of trivia. The boy is hurting on the inside, and he understands the pain so well- this is his way of showing that he's there for the boy, a shoulder to lean on, so to say.]

[He looks up as they approach the sushi bar and nods at it.] Ah, looks like we're here.

Oh. Yeah.

[Even if it's just a little bit, Lea does feel better. He's not sure if this is a particularly healthy way of dealing with his loss, ignoring it and focusing on everything else. But talking about anything in quantity is a release, even if it's not about his feelings.

Lea reaches towards the door and holds it open, giving a small hum as he does so.]

Y'know, it's really easy to talk to you. Dunno why.
