Uh... my matesprit lost his moirail, so the chocobos and I are staying with him, for the time being.

They're fine! Gamzee's hive has a nice backyard for them to play in, and they've been keeping busy out there and around the hive.

[Translation: Darkleer has been a total brat and absolute terror, while Pounce has been the picture of a well-behaved, polite chocobo.]

Man, it's been tough. You know they're a nervous bunch period, and I didn't want to risk seeing how they'd act during this little number.

So for now, I'm keeping them cooped up inside the house with some breaks so they don't poop all over the place. It's tough. I can't wait for these fish things to get the hell out.

Would you like me to come by and clear out the fish monsters in the area so they can all go outside for a bit? I'd hate to see them get destructive on either you or each other.

[That, and maybe Darkleer can burn off some energy tormenting the bigger chocobos and then will leave his sister alone.]

[Slightly embarrassed by this next part, but going to tell Lea anyway.]

I've been making little saddles for Darkleer, with weights on them, that he's been wearing around the hive. You know, to get him used to having weight on his back.

[And to keep him from jumping on the table.]

Pretty well, I think. He doesn't like it much, but it keeps him from playing too rough with Pounce or getting up where he's not supposed to.

[Darkleer is the hugest brat, Lea. He's terrible. But Equius loves him anyway.]

I'm also hoping that, if he has to work his muscles harder when he's still growing, he'll be strong enough as an adult to... well, to be able to carry me.

That actually sounds like an awesome plan. [So long as he's careful and all.]

I've had to, uh, help carry trolls around myself. I thought you guys weren't that much heavier than most kids.
