[ooc] Chocobos
It is Stein and Selphie's fault that Lea has a bajillion chocobos. Also Sora. So basically the lesson here is that everyone whose name begins with 'S' should not be allowed near Lea, or else chocobos happens.
Here's a list.
CHOCOBOOOOOOO
==> RADI ♂
Technically Lea's first Chocobo. When Sora first found the chocobo farm in the Nook, Lea jumped onto Radi out of excitement. Radi didn't like that. When Sora left, the grump was left in Lea's care. While he is very much a grump who does not like loud children (which are all children to him), he is still the alpha Chocobo of the flock and views it as his responsibility. He thinks Lea is still a 'chick' in comparison, and cares for him deeply. Also he is annoying as hell, but still.
==> ALSTROEMERIA ♀
One of the first of four chocobos which Stein brought home. Unfortunately a part of the pair which didn't leave. While she is a pretty nice chocobo, she doesn't like to be startled and will royally flip her shit in horrifying ways.
==> LARKSPUR ♂
The other Chocobo Stein first got, and Alstroemeria's mate. He is a rather nervous bird who freaks out when he's not with his flock. Loud noises are terrifying.
==> ALEX ♂
One of the chicks from Stein's first batch of Chocochics. He was the first Red Chocobo in Vatheon, and was immediately given to Lea as a gift from Stein. He is a very excitable and adventurous Chocobo who loves climbing around and investigating things. Perhaps living with Stein and Lea combined has made him fear very little.

One of the three Yellow Chocobos in Stein's first batch of Chocochics. She is a very cautious bird and slow to trust other people. Her feathers are amongst the softest of the flock.
==> BELLAND ♂
The first Blue Chocobo in Vatheon, and one of the Chocochics in Stein's first batch. He seems to admire Radi quite a bit and tries to emulate him by acting serious and badass. His fondness for food makes him something of a picky eater.
==> CROCUS ♂
Another of the Yellow Chocobos born in Stein's first batch of Chocochics. Out of all the others, he seems to have a fairly down to earth personality and is often the one to greet new people in a way that doesn't involve freaking out or trying to tackle them out of affection.
==> HYDRAN ♂
The last of the Chocobos in Stein's first batch, and the last yellow. While slightly twitchy towards new people and having a tendency to run off at first, he is also the first to calm down. For some strange reason, he has a fascination with metal and tends to hoard it in his nest.
==> GLADIOLI ♀
One of the Chocobos in Stein's second batch of chicks. Unlike the others before her, she is much more lively and sociable. She is always trying to meet new people and cuddle up to them. Very touchy-feely.
==> ROSELEAF ♀
One of the Yellow Chocobos in Stein's second batch of chicks. She seems to think others are strange and is very shy around new people. When it comes down to it, she prefers to stick with the other Yellows.
==> FERN ♀
The only other Red Chocobo in Stein's second batch. Her brother was taken by Eiji. She seems a bit disconnected from the things that happen around her and likes to poke around things. However, besides Radi, she seems to be one of the toughest, able to take lots of damage.
==> FRANKEN ♂
The only Brown Chocobo in Stein's second batch of Chocochics. Lea named him after Stein when the scientist was taken from Vatheon because of his rather calm demeanor. However, once he's high enough, Franken has a tendency to try and jump onto other creatures, whether chocobo, human, or troll. How he gets up onto high places is anyone's guess.
==> CACTUS ♂
Another Blue Chocobo in Stein's second batch of chicks. Possibly one of the more aggressive ones, he loves a good scuffle. However, he is a rather loyal bird and doesn't appreciate others getting fresh with the flock.
==> STARELEM ♀
The last Yellow Chocobo out of Stein's second batch. She's a very studious bird who always needs to be kept busy or else she starts worrying about things. She tries to make sure some of the more energetic birds like Cactus and Alex are kept away from fighting.
==> HEATHER ♀
A Blue Chocobo from Stein's second batch. She doesn't take shit from any of the other birds and is often one of those getting dragged into scuffles whether she likes it or not. Her nest tends to be extremely colorful from little bits of string she seems to somehow find.
==> ASI ♂
One of the only Green Chocobos in Vatheon. Also from Stein's second batch. The other may have been eaten by Nepeta. Because of this, he tends to have something of a fear of cats, even though most of them are smaller than himself. Besides that, he's just as adventurous as Alex and the other birds, but he has a better idea of what to do. In other words, lots of common sense.

Myde is one of the only Chocobos, besides Radi, who was not bred by Stein. She was given to Lea as an egg and birthday present by Selphie and hatched after Alex, but before Asi. Lea didn't realize she was a girl when he named her after Demyx's Somebody, but he hasn't bothered to rename her. Myde is very sweet and quiet, but has great rhythm and dance skills for a bird.
==> SHIBUSEN ♀
When Stein was taken from Vatheon, only this egg was left behind in the Chocobo pen. When it hatches on January 29th, 2012, a beautiful female Chocobo will come out. Lea will also name this one after something of Stein's, in this case the school he teaches at. She will be very curious but shy of strangers, which occasionally means random stalking by a large shiny bird. However, she will be sadly short-lived, and die only a year later on January 29th, 2013.
So far, the count is at 17 Chocobos.
