[A. Action for Housemates: Carrie has slowly been getting used to Mayfield. Very slowly. The most important thing she has to cope with, Mamma isn't here. Mamma isn't here so there's no one to yell at her, make her wear horrible clothing, lock her in her closet. But people show up here, and she doesn't have her power anymore. She's defenceless again

[Just like last time, Fate's passing by as Carrie is focusing on the pinecone. She stops, though, when she notices said pinecone lifting into the air.

She looks... only very mildly surprised. Not shocked, horrified, or scared. Just... surprised. Interested, as well?]

... Are you doing that, Carrie?

[It falls as Carrie looks over in shock, fear and then numbness.]

[She's not evil, she's not. But the nice lady saw her and now she's not going to be nice anymore. What if she was like everyone else? Freak. Freak. Creepy Carrie.]

[On the contrary. A smile crosses her face!] Oh! I didn't know you had any sort of special abilities. [Special. Not evil. Not disgusting.] Is that all you can do?

[What.....this is strange. Carrie is cautious, but there's a sliver of hope. Maybe...]

Oh...do you need any help? I can't do any spells like that, but if there's anything I can do, I'd love to be of assistance.

Mmhmm! I'm a mage. I can use lots of different kinds of spells. [Most of which are currently sealed but DETAILS...]

I can break things. Or make them stop...or move things. ...somehow.

Those are some pretty amazing abilities. I know people who can use telekinesis and binding spells, but not someone who can just make things stop.

I'm sorry I can't help you understand your powers. But... if you can use them, maybe it's just a matter of refining them. And that should be easy enough to help with.
