Gear list
I have pretty much everything I need for this year's adventures, but there are a few things I'd like to replace or add to:
1. New hard shell for mountaineering
2. New, lighter, bigger pack. (I like the GoLite Expedition, I think--3.5 lbs and 5500 cu in)
3. Lighter sleeping bag (mine's this great REI synthetic--very warm to 0 deg F--but I think I could go lighter)
4. Longer ice axe (I have a 55cm BD--I think I want a 60 or 65 BD Pro)
5. Plastic boots??? My lightweight mountaineering boots are totally bomber and comfy, (La Sportiva's) but not too warm...
6. 8 or 9mm rope for glacier traversing, etc.
7. Avalanche beacon, probe
8. Start adding trad gear to my rack (already have plenty of locking biners, QD's, slings, etc.)
Any good gear suggestions, let me know...
