Some reminders~
Hello Promdates! Gadgets here, with a few reminders~! First of all, as I'm sure you all know and are excited for, Reserves Open February 22nd! We're excited to see who people are thinking about bringing in! In addition, we're in the process of tweaking a few things on the app -- nothing major, just a few more details about what exactly we're looking for. If you're planning on applying for a character, please check the applications page within the next few days to make sure you didn't miss anything. As stated on the purge list, we are changing the way we handle the taken list; when accepted, either fill out the code and reply under the canon your character is from or post on the main taken list to request a post on thisopenroad for your canon.
We also have a new hiatus policy. You may hiatus for one month at a time. If you need an extension, please contact one of the moderators. This is to prevent character squatting. Anyone already on hiatus doesn't have to worry about that. We'd also like to address slowaituses (is that the correct plural form?). If you are going on a slowaitus, you don't have to post on the hiatus page; you can just let everyone know you'll be slow on the OOC comm. That said, if you're on a slowaitus, you are still required to make the AC unless you go on a proper hiatus. In addition, if you are on hiatus, you must post on the hiatus page. You will not be counted as exempt on the AC if you have not posted there, even if you have posted on the OOC board. The only exception is if you physically cannot get online and find some other way to contact us.
While you're here, please make sure you're on the Contact List! We like being able to get in contact with you! In that same vein, feel free to check out Ilpromenade's OOC chat on AIM at "thisopenroad" (most of the time it's just me sitting in there, watching it be empty, and I could use the company).
As another reminder, please remember to tag your entries! If you are posting the initial entry, the tag should be formatted as "*character name: canon", while if you are replying to an entry, the tag should be formatted as "character name: canon". This is extremely important, as there may be times when you or someone else wants to look at the threads of a character, or there may be times when we as mods have to use them for activity checks, events, etc.
In addition, go check out the calendar! It's very pretty, and you can have us add events on there, such as Tony Stark's movie night or Rapunzel and her lantern releasing.
We'd also like to apologize again for delays in updating lists. A new modteam = new kinks to work out. We should have everything completely updated before reserves open, and will definitely have them updated before applications open. If you notice anything we've missed on any of the lists, please let us know! Human error is a curse, after all.
