I took my first dance class today. The name of the class might as well have been "Dancing with people over 50". But no bother. Two of my friends signed up too. We all guys but we figured woman are more into dancing then men so it wouldn't be hard to find a partner. Well it just so happens we pick the class where everyone is a couple over 50 'cept us. It was fun and intresting anyway and it's a set of 8 classes so I intend to go to the rest of them. The instructor told us that if we want to switch classes to the one we didn't pick there were 4 women in there without partners so it would be better for everyone. We're gonna do that.

Dancing. Yes that requires feet that work. Over the years I have documented pretty much every time I've injured myself in an interesting way. I have another to add to the list. I've been training to run the "warrior dash". This is essentially a 5K with obstacles like crawling through nets and jumping over cars etc. I'd been doing nightly runs ov about 1.25 miles roughly every other night at the beginning of the month and was doing pretty well with that. For some reason last week I woke up the next day and my tendons on my heels were sore. Then the day after the balls of my feet were kind of sore. I decided to give them a rest from running. What bothers me that that over a week later they are still sore. It's not a pain exactly, just a soreness. Think I injured the tendons somehow. I don't think I'm going to be able to run the warrior dash this year :( I'll have to walk it, which will be lame. warriors don't walk :-\
