this is a series of photos taken at The Empty Bottle (a rock club) in Chicago on the night of Valentine's Day. a Chicago band called Chin Up Chin Up was playing a show. Chris, the guy on the left of the photos, was the bass player in CUCU. He was 26 years old. Anyway, after the show, he was walking his girlfriend (seen in the center of each photo) Tiffany across the street when a SUV was speeding through a redlight...Chris pushed his girlfriend onto the sidewalk, but he wasn't so fortunate. he was struck by the SUV and dragged for 40 yards before the SUV sped off. Chris was pronounced dead on the scene. an hour later the SUV was caught by the cops, but that doesn't change anything.
Unreal, I can't even imagine how that would feel....
