But it’s happening, it is, and Britta’s not going to stop it because when Jeff (finally) gets her bra off his giant hands play her like a fucking fiddle and why is he so good at this?
He would be good at it, that cocky son of a bitch.
The right corner of his mouth inches up and she can see the relief on his face. They always do this, they always have to. Yep. They are always toeing the line of being really sincere about their feelings and then just reverting back to the status quo because it's much safer that way.
The word boyfriend floats into her mind one day and she dismisses it as quickly as it came. It’s replaced with best friend, which she thinks is more appropriate but still a little terrifying. You know what, this really gets to me about season 3 because they are best friends and apart from Troy and Abed, they are definitely the closest in the study group and yet we hardly got to see them interact this season
( ... )
I agree with you about pretty much everything; especially Jeff and Britta being best friends. I can't get over the fact that they must have spent an absurd amount of time together over the course of season two, and then to see them barely speak to each other in season three is just ridiculous. Probably number one on my season four wishlist is just for them to have scenes together, not necessarily romantic scenes (although that would be nice) but scenes that show how close the two of them are and how well they know each other, especially at this point.
I also think about that scene from CCC all the time and it keeps me going, because Abed's never been wrong yet :)
So... I'm new around these parts and I just went hunting for some Jeff/Britta fic (because Jeff/Britta ftw) and I found this and I just have to tell you...
