this is why tonight was so awesome:
i babysat with christina again tonight. michael is a racecar with feet and mariana is the most adorable baby ever. apart from the standard playing with michael and mariana and feeding them, tonight i was introduced to the world of baths. michael just goes crazy and splashes around. i don't know how christina handles both of them by herself. mariana aka yama aka bug just wants to bounce around and look at shiny things and michael just wants to do some repetitive task and keep saying "again?" it's fun, but i bet it's stressful with 2 young kids that both require at least 80% of your attention each. michael got sad when he had to say night-night to me. then the end of my night was spent napping on a chair with bug asleep on my lap and i loved every second of it. it's one of the most rewarding feelings ever.
