post christmas
christmas was fun. christmas eve i drove down to west chester and ate a ton of seafood at christina's aunt's house. i like her family a lot. i feel comfortable even around her extended family.
then i went to my grandma's house in manheim. my dad and his girlfriend and her kids were there. it was real awkward. i haven't seen him in about a year.
i went to sleep over at my mom's house because it was her first christmas living alone. it was fun. she was doing some last minute cooking and i just watched tv. christmas morning i woke up and went to church with her. then we went back and waited for all her brothers and sisters and their kids to get there. i went and met christina off the exit and we headed back to my mom's.
monday i had off. sleeping in was nice. mario and i went shopping for over 4 hours. it was actually pretty funny. he and jj and i bought velour sweatsuits that are amazing.
tuesday: work and job interview. i might take it. it's crazy though. one day of the training is learning how to restrain a kid who's flipping out and violent. 3 more days are autism training. that all starts at the beginning of february if i take it.
i took off work wednesday and made date night with christina into date day. we went and babysat for her boss's kids. it was the most fun i've had in a real long time. micheal is 22 months and he's insanely smart. he's almost forming whole sentences and all day he'd randomly say "hi eric". we looked at this puzzle book of all these foods and he knows almost all of them. he also has this giant thomas the train set and he loves the "hewicopter". mariana is 6 months and she's beautiful. she fell asleep while i was holding her and it was one of the best feelings ever. she kept looking at me and when i'd look back at her she'd smile. so cute. then we went up to the soda jerk in hummelstown and feasted for free. i stopped at the mall when we got back and bought some air max 87's. they're so sweet. all in all it was a pretty incredible day.
