Fact: I am a sucker for any kind of zombie apocalypse AU in my fandoms no matter how poorly written or characterized it is*, the more hopeless and depressing the better.
However, come on now. Surely half the fun in writing a nu!Trek zombie apocalypse AU in the first place lies in giving Scotty a blunt object and letting all hell break loose. I am terribly disappointed in this opportunity having been overlooked.
