Wandering Worlds - My Company!
So it's been a while now since I started my very own company and things are going pretty smoothly. I've got a few sources of income, not enough to quite my current job but I'm slowly working on that becoming a reality.
It's a strange one though, I started out wanting to create a travel company, then a software engineering company and now I'm sitting in between those two which is really the most ideal place to be!
I'm in the process of writing myself up a proper business plan, plans for the future, growth, profit, fun things that may pop up on the way. Why am I doing this? Well I've put it to my folks to see if they would invest a sum of money into kicking off the companies growth. They have pretty much agreed but want to see some finer details first.
See the biggest difficulty when starting a company is having enough cash to invest and to live on. I'm in this situation at the moment, I'm using my paycheck to invest into my company. This is all well and good if you have a sure fire winner on your hands, but you never really know when you're starting out. Sometimes when you have to dish out $700+ a month for your company, it doesn't leave you with much for living.
Getting the balance right is the key, so thats why I'm excited that my folks are interested in hearing me out. I've got a very solid plan, some fantastic software and some fucking sweet ideas :)
