16 Days...Holy Shit.
So, this weekend was pretty damn good (with the exception of Friday for me)....So, I'll start at Saturday...
Saturday morning Jamie and I woke up at my house. We didn't spend much time around before leaving to stop at Kieth's and look at the finished painting, picking up Matt, stopping at M&M Hardware, and finally going to Jamie's. The majority of Saturday afternoon was reserved for the planning of Belon's birthday party. Jenna made a cake, we got firewood (also through Jenna), bought a few snacks and party hats, and picked up Steve. John called after he got off from work and Jamie went to pick him up to bring him back to the house. When Belon got back with Jamie and came into the room he looked so happy. It was nice to see how happy he looked. Shortly after John's arrival we decided to go to the "Thunder in the Valley" fireworks display. I think the fireworks added a nice touch to the night, not to mention that they were pretty good. After the fireworks Jamie, Steve, Matt, Belon, and I all headed back to Jamie's and decided to start a fire.
The fire ended up being really nice. Even Capt'n Pat came down. We all just sat around the fire talking for hours. Unfortunately John's (Belon's) bastard dad refused to let him stay. Because of this, John went home around 1:00am. The rest of us stayed by the fire until sometime close to 4:30am. After comming inside from the fire we all began to wind down for the night. Capt'n Pat drove home and Jamie took Steve back to his house. Jenna ended up going to sleep.I tried, but failed miserably. After Jamie's got back from Steve's I laid in bed for a while, trying to go to sleep. Since it didn't work I just sat around talking with Jamie and Matt. We were up until a little after 8:00am. I hadn't stayed up that late in a while, but there was something strangely peaceful about that night. I'd say that everything was a success.
I woke up on Sunday around 2:30pm. Jamie was already up and Jenna and Matt were gone. Because of this, Jamie and I spent the rest of the day by ourselves. It was a pretty lazy day since the both of us were still pretty tired. It was a nice day to ourselves, though. I enjoyed it. Later that night Jamie took me back to my house. We taked in the car for a bit before I went inside and he left. After going inside I talked to my mom for a little bit and watched some tv. Later I got online and talked to a number of people. Sometime after this I was in bed.
Today is going to be a pretty slow day. Jamie and I both are going to be at our houses doing some cleaning. Cleaning is demanded at my house, since we will be moving soon. The main excitement of today is that Ryan is supposed to be calling. When he calls Jamie and I (and everybody else at our Gathering campsite for that matter) will know the number of our campsite for the Gathering. By now our excitement is growing like crazy. We are now only 16 days away and everything seems to be comming together really well. After hearing what number our campsite is, we'll be able to pick it out directly on the map for the Gathering....Eeeeee! I can hardly wait! I just really hope Ryan remembers to call.
