So, Beauty and the Beast was Saturday, and yes, it was awesome. Jamie and I left, first stopping at Subway (yum), then heading to Pitssburgh around 10 till 7:00. The drive there was pretty smooth and easy. The hardest part was actually finding a place to park near the theater. We first tried the parking garage we used when we saw the Phantom, unfortunately it was closed. So we drove quite a few blocks up the road before being given directions to another parking garage. After finding our way out of the garage we began to walk to the theater...But got lost. We ended up on so many streets that niether of us had a clue about. Even one of the people we asked for directions was completely clueless. Luckily we found someone who gave us correct directions, so we walked (quickly) in the right direction to the theater. The mintue we got into our seats it was time for the lights to go down.
The show itself was great. Jamie and I both had a really fun time. It seemed nearly everything about the perormance was done so well. The singing, the scenes, the dancing, and of course, the acting-all great. We both have agreed that it beat the Phantom of the Opera's performace by 10xs. And lucky me, I never even got sick. :)
After the show we found our way to the car a few blocks down. Sadly on our way home we got lost once more. I felt bad for Jamie because he gets so upset about these sort of things. After some time we stopped at a gas station somewhere on the Southside (I think) and got the directions we needed. We came back to Jamie's rather late. Shortly there after we were both asleep.
Earlier in the week was also pretty good. Jamie, my mom, and I began painting my room in Kieth's house. The colors are looking really nice together (Purple and Black) and I am pretty excited to see how it turns out in the end. Days following this we also hung out with Capt'n Patt, Brandon and shae,John Belon, and Matt and Jenna. Jenna was getting her hair dreaded yesterday and I can't wait to see how it looks. I think it'll be super cute. I wish I had the nuts to do that. It was nice seeing John, Shae, and Brandon on Friday. We hadn't seen Belon in quite a while and Brandon and Shae hadn't been around as much as often either. Hanging out with Capt'n Pat Thursday night was also pretty sweet. I hardly remember the last time I had seen him before that.
Today Jamie is comming over and we'll have some alone time here at my house for a bit. We may hang out with Patterson later, which would also be nice. Then Jamie will be here for the night with me. Tommorow will most likely contain more painting for my mom and I.
...Anyways, I'm going to get going. Thanks for reading.
