Happy New Year's Eve. Woop.
Well, since Christmas has been officially over the break has gone even faster than it originally was. I am in disbelife that tommorow I'll be celebrating the new year with everyone. Pretty awesome, but pretty unbelievable also. Comming into the new year also highlights exactly how close Jamie and I are to our 1 year (It's in Feb.), that's just so crazy. 2005 FLEW. But, it has been a really great year, I'd have it no other way. Anyhow...
The past few days have been pretty jolly. Thursday I went down to the bar, where I hadn't been since like October or something. Ruby and Derec came and picked me up, they also had Sean with him. After picking me up we drove down to Amber's. We hung out there for a little while before Amber was ready and Kevin had been talked into going. We left in seperate cars..but when Ruby was backing out we went into a small ditch since the driveway near Amber's is completely pitch black. The car was tilted sideways into the ditch, she tried pushing the gas, but the car wasn't budging.Kevin came over to see if he could help. He couldn't do anything with just him, Sean, and Derec, so he went back down to the house to get all of the other men. After time the car was out of the ditch, unharmed, and ready to go. So, we finally got to the bar. We all ordered food and/or pop to have while we sat and BSed. I talked a lot of the time with Sean. I was happy he was able to make it out. I also talked to Derec more than I think I had ever before (though it still wasn't any grand amount of conversation). It ended up being pretty fun just hanging out with everyone. That was actually the first place I had ever gone in public where Amber was. Craziness man.
I got home close to 10 or so. I waited around the house a little bit before Jamie came down. We hung out for the night playing Smash Brothers-I sucked majorly in all my battles =( and just talking. We went to bed sometime later, I really can't remember the exact time. It was a really fun night. I love it when Jmaie stays over here, it ends up being a lot of fun and gives us time to talk about things in private. It all puts a smile on my face, hehe.
We woke up today around 12:00-ish. We laid in bed till sometime after 1:00 because we are lazy fucks, but I love it. We eventually got up, made breakfast, played Smash Bros. (where I sucked-AGAIN), etc. After time we decided to watch "O Brother Where Art Thou." I had never seen it so this was my first time. Jamie is a pretty big fan of the movie, which is fine, but I really couldn't get into it. It just seemed kind of bland and pointless to me, but hey, that's fully personal opinion. I'm anxious to see what Rotten Tomamtoes gave it.
Also this evening we made finale plans for the New Year's Eve party tommorow. It's going to be at Derec's now, wich is fine with me. So, I'm pretty excited for that. Later on we went to the mall and Wal * Mart and the Chineese restaurant. Yum. After getting our food we picked up Brando from Shae's house and went to Jamie's. All in all, a good day.
