Here are the goals I had for this month and how I'm doing on them so far:
- STOP going back to sleep after Tom goes to work! My pre-cycle days were bad on this one, but I've done really well since then. So, Progress! Yay!
- Have a cutoff time in the morning to stop doing online stuff, and then actually STOP doing it! I've actually done better on this one than I expected. Didn't know I could. I'm getting a ton of studying done and still able to check lj and fb b/c I'm assigning times to do it specifically. Cool.
- Stop taking a 3 hour lunch. I'm doing AWESOME on this one. Some days, I'm too hungry to wait for him to eat, but then I spend the majority of the time he's here back here studying instead of staying in the living room. YAY!
- Allow myself *short* breaks to get up and move and get water, etc., and one big one in the middle of the day to check online stuff. This one is going really well, too! I have a reminder on my computer calendar to get up and stretch every hour and another one at the opposite end of the clock to make sure I'm actually studying. Yay!
- Hold myself accountable on these and report my progress here. Okay, I suck at this one. I reported ONE day's worth of accountability. Ah, well. At least it meant I was on lj that much less, right? ;) Gotta' look at the bright side. :)
So, overall, I'm pretty darn happy with my progress. It's not the rocket speed of progress I'd LIKE to see, but it's actual forward motion, which is important. So, yay! :)
