Goal Post - February 2011

Hello Everyone!

Your Goal for February 2011 is to:

Take A Chance

Something about this year makes me excited. I don't know what it is, but I feel more pep in my step. Everything looks greener. My dog's barks aren't driving me as crazy. I feel like doing something besides watching tv all the time. So... for this month's Goal, I'm going to suggest that we all find some way to take a chance in our lives. Step out of our comfort zones, even if it's just for a little while. Do something different. Go somewhere you've never been. Talk to someone new. Try something you've always wanted to try.

Some suggestions (please feel free to try one or all of these or something completely different):

- Create something interesting in the kitchen
- Wear that pair of pumps you've always thought were a little "out there"
- Ask for that promotion
- Go camping for the first time - like, in a tent and everything
- Order a new drink instead of the old standby
- Check out the shops downtown that you've always wanted to see
- Sew something for the first time
- Use a hammer
- Write... and send it in

It can be big things or little things. Whatever you decide, try SOMEthing this month. And, tell us about it!

"People mistakenly think that if they take a risk and it doesn’t turn out the way they expect it to, that it’s all over. The sky will fall, their world will come crashing down, and that they’ll never bounce back from it. It’s precisely because of that one shot do or die mentality that prevents people from taking risks."
